Don't take processes for granted

If you ever worked at a company where things seemed to flow, chances are one or more folks intentionally built and tweaked a foundation to make that happen.

Every company has processes.

Not every company has good, well-functioning ones, though.

The ones that do have probably spent a lot of time and effort figuring out how to work together.

If you ever worked at a company where things seemed to flow, chances are one or more folks intentionally built and tweaked a foundation to make that happen.

The opposite is true.

If things don't seem to get done and everything is a struggle, it's probably because one has put in the effort to make things work within the context of the company.

Beyond an extensive bullet list, processes are part of the company culture.

Magical things happen when smart people figure out how to work together.
